The Vanport Jazz Festival is Oregon’s largest outdoor smooth jazz festival. The festival honors the historic city of Vanport and pays homage to the voices that formed Portland's jazz community. The festival has been described as having a reunion feel or a cultural revival. We invite you to come out and enjoy the sounds of nationally renowned musicians, local artisan food, merchandise vendors, and northwest wines and spirits.

Tickets:

Friday Admission – $75

Saturday Admission – $100

Silver 2-Day Package – $160

• Includes 2-day general admission for Friday and Saturday
• Lawn chairs are not provided by the festival

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. 

Getting There: 

Venue change – The Vanport Jazz Festival is moving to the University of Portland this year!

Parking – Paid parking is available onsite for $20, cash only. Locations will be released closer to the festival. 

ADA – ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rideshare – We encourage all festival attendees to consider using ride-share services. Drop-off and pick-up locations will be established closer to the festival.

FAQ's:

What does General Admission seating look like?

• General Admission seating is comprised of low-back lawn chairs and/or blankets.
• All lawn chairs brought with you should comply with the dimensions listed on the Vanport Jazz Festival FAQ's page. 
• All high-back chairs and large umbrellas will be required to be set up at the rear of the venue. This policy will be strictly enforced for the convenience of all patrons.  
• Lawn chairs are not provided by the festival. 

Are minors allowed? 
This event is strictly 21 and over. Minors will not be allowed inside the festival, tickets will not be refunded.

Is festival re-entry allowed? 
Guests can come and go throughout the day, as long as an unaltered festival wristband is worn. Guests leaving the parking lot in their car will be required to pay a new parking re-entry fee.

My tickets still say the festival is at the Colwood Golf Course, are they still valid?
Yes, any tickets that were purchased before the venue change was announced are valid for the 2025 festival. To view your tickets with the updated venue, log in to your My Tomato account.
